Alex Forte - Site Manager

From hosting small outdoor festivals and free parties with friends to site management for commercial festivals, Alex Forte has been an active member within Ireland’s festival scene for many years. With decades of professional experience in the events industry, Alex has worked with Electric Picnic, Knockanstockan, Townlands Carnival, Body&Soul, Boomtown, Life Festival and many more. Firmly committed to providing sustainable alternatives when managing a site, Alex has been working as a site manager for Native Events since 2017.


Jill Abbott - Production Manager

Having worked for independent festivals such as Body&Soul, Knockanstockan, Solas, Townlands, Life festival and many more, Jill Abbott brings years of experience in Event Operations and Site Administration to Native Events. With a background in design, Jill is an NCAD graduate with a post-grad in Event Management. Alongside this, she has experience in corporate conferencing within Ireland and abroad. She is responsible for planning the technical and logistical elements of all Native Events projects.


Sarah Quinn - Creative Producer

Sarah has worked with cultural institutions, social enterprises and charities on their strategy, business development, communications and creative programming. She is currently the Partnership Manager for CoderDojo Foundation as well as collaborating with a number of like-minded enterprises such as Native Events. She is passionate about sustainability and strongly believes in circular economy systems thinking. She's an excellent networker and loves spotting ways to connect different communities in holistic ways that are environmentally and socially aware i.e. bringing cool projects to life!


Tommie Soro - Content Editor

Tommie Soro is an Irish artist whose work explores contemporary art as a mode of public discourse and challenges the tradition of institutional critique. His work has been exhibited in a number of institutions; most notably, in the Van Abbe Museum and at the Research Pavilion of the Venice Biennale. Having received his BFA from the Dublin Institute of Technology and his MFA from the Dutch Art Institute in Arnhem, Tommie is currently a PhD fellow with GradCAM at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Alongside his background in Critical Theory and Contemporary Art, Tommie brings years of experience in academic writing and thesis supervision to his role as Content Editor for Native Events.
